Here are a few shots of the Arthog area, on the southern shore of the Mawddach estuary in North Wales. A great place for walking, climbing, water sports, river and sea fishing and much more.
The house is right
on the estuary. It is part of a Victorian terrace, originally built as the start
of a new seaside resort, that never got completed, so all there is is a row
of large town houses, in the middle of beautiful country side. This photo is
from the hill behind the house. You can't quite see it but it is down on the
shore in front of you.
The house has three bedrooms and can sleep two couples and two singles.

One mile from the house is Fairbourne beach. Lots of sand and safe bathing.
Here's a map of how
to get to the area. Arthog is on the main road between Dolgellau and Fairbourne
Behind the house
the mountain of Cader Idris rises up. Great walking and climbing.
